About the Qualification
A nationally recognised Level 3 Competency Update qualification for experienced Curtain Wall Installation operatives.
Designed for installers who have already achieved a recognised Curtain Wall Installation qualification and need to demonstrate continued competence, knowledge and current industry working practices.
This qualification ensures you remain compliant with industry standards and continue to work safely and effectively on modern facade projects.

Mandatory Units
Learner must complete both mandatory units 13 credits:
Confirming Work Activities and Resources for an Occupational Work Area, Developing and Maintaining Good Occupational Working Relationships, Confirming the Occupational Method of Work and Conforming to General Health, Safety and Welfare.
Learners requiring the Supervisor Pathway must also complete:
- Supervising a Curtain Walling Installation Project and a Team of Curtain Walling Installers. Total with Supervisor Pathway:23 credits.
- Supervisor candidates must also provide evidence of completing at least two supervisory roles during the previous 12 months.
- Competency-update qualification for experienced, previously qualified curtain wall installers, rather than an initial entry Level 3 NVQ
